Carmel by the sea

Hace mucho tiempo que no actualizaba mi blog, pero ya que estoy en California con tan bellos paisajes, decidí que era el lugar perfecto para nuevas fotos. 

Tengo que admitir que antes me parecían feos los wedge sneakers, pero los vi tanto que comenzaron a gustarme y ahora me encantan.  Son súper cómodos y combinan con casi todo. Estos son de Guess y, a pesar de que no soy muy fanática de la marca, los he estado usando bastante.

El romper es de Forever 21 y es comodísimo. Me parece perfecto para el verano por el estampado de la tela.

Mis lentes son de Urban Outfitters. Como mi hermana sabía que los quería desde hace tiempo y estoy un poco obsesionada con el cat eye, fueron un regalo de su parte. Son mis lentes favoritos hasta ahora!

It's been a while since I haven't posted anything on my blog, but since I'm in California, and it's so beautiful here, I decided to post some new pictures of my outfit.

I have to admit I used to hate wedge sneakers, I seriously thought they were ugly. But then, I saw lots of people using these and actually started to like them. They're really comfy and they match almost everything you wear. These are from Guess and I've worn them a lot.

The romper is from Forever 21 and it's super comfortable. It looks perfect for this summer, I feel like the fabric matches perfectly with the season.

Mi sunglasses are from Urban Outfitters. My sister knew I was obsessed with cat eye sunglasses, so she gave them to me as a present. They're my favorite sunglasses so far!

The pictures were taken in Carmel, California.  For all reality TV fans out there, "Mrs. Eastwood and Company" was shot there. XO!

Colorful Spring

Spring is one of my favorite seasons because it's all about flowers, bright colors and sunshine! I had never worn this dress before and it was a present from my sister about seven months ago. I just love this dress... the bright blue and the lace fabric, the way it makes my skin color stand out, the way it moves. I didn't want to wear flats so I picked out my bright orange wedges and a matching shoulder purse. I also pulled off the look with a high ponytail so my hair wouldn't get in the way of my dress. By the way, the cutie on the pictures is Olivia, a gorgeous month and a half yorkshire puppy. Hope you like it!

La primavera es una de mis temporadas favoritas, ¡todo gira alrededor de flores, colores vivos y rayos de sol! Nunca había usado este vestido que me regaló mi hermana hace unos siete meses. Me encanta la prenda... el color azul vivo y la tela de encaje, la manera en que resalta mi color de piel, el movimiento del mismo. No quería usar zapatillas, así que elegí mis sandalias naranja de tacón corrido y un bolsito del mismo color. En cuanto al cabello, decidí hacerme una cola de caballo para que el vestido fuese lo que más resaltara del outfit. Por cierto, la belleza que aparece en las fotos es Olivia, una cachorrita yorkshire de mes y medio. Espero les guste!

Little black romper

The little black dress is a must have in every girls closet. I wanted to give a twist to that classic look, so I wore a little one shoulder black romper instead. I'm not really used to wearing dark colors, I prefer bright ones; that's why I needed to add some color to the outfit and used these kind of orange Jessica Simpson sandals,that are really comfortable. The necklace belongs to my mom, she bought it years ago and I love that it's simple but at the same time it gets your attention. I think this outfit turned out very chic and I'm really happy with the photos, that by the way are always taken by my boyfriend! Xox


El vestidito negro es una prenda básica y muy útil que debe estar presente en el clóset de toda mujer. Quería darle un toque distinto a ese look clásico, así que en vez de usar un vestido, utilicé una braga negra de un solo hombro. No estoy muy acostumbrada a llevar colores muy oscuros, prefiero tonos más brillantes y alegres; fue por eso que elegí estas sandalias color naranja de Jessica Simpson, que por cierto son súper cómodas. El collar es de mi mamá, se lo compró hace años y lo que me encanta de él es que es sencillo, pero a la vez llama la atención. Este outfit terminó viéndose chic y me encantaron las fotos, que por cierto siempre las toma mi novio! Besitos

Blue and pink

This look was actually pulled off with some old stuff in my closet. The silk blue shirt is from Charlotte Russe and I bought it about five years ago. It's not a big deal, but the shape it has on the back makes it really different and cute, it's what I love about it! The destroyed jeans I also bought 5 years ago, I got them at Pacsun and the brand is Bullhead. Since the shirt and the jeans give a very "blue" look, I wanted some color to pop, so I chose my hot pink pumps from Jessica Simpson. This outfit is great for some casual dinner on a Friday night!

Este look lo creé utilizando piezas viejas que había dentro de mi clóset. La camisa de satén la compré en Charlotte Russe hace como 5 años. No es la gran cosa, pero los detalles que tiene en la espalda la hacen bastante diferente y eso es lo que me encanta de ella. Los jeans rotos también los compré hace cinco años, son de marca Bullhead y se encuentran en Pacsun. Como la camisa y el jean hacen que el outfit se vea bastante "azulado", quería un toque de color que resaltara muchísimo, así que elegí mis tacones fucsia Jessica Simpson. Este outfit es perfecto para ir a una cena casual un Viernes en la noche!

Can't get enough of Wine Velvet

As I said on my last post, I'm obsessed with burgundy! This look combines two of my favorite things, the wine velvet headband and my Jeffrey Campbell's (finally got them). Tribal print is still a big trend, so I decided to match these gorgeous leggings with a pretty simple black shirt from Forever 21, that I had already worn on another post, and my JC's. I'm completely in love with this whole outfit and I hope you guys are too!

Como les dije en mi último post, estoy obsesionada con el borgoña! Este look combina dos de mis cosas favoritas, mi cinta para el cabello de gamuza, también color borgoña y mis zapatos Jeffrey Campbell del mismo color. El estampado tribal aún está muy de moda, así que decidí utilizar estos hermosos leggings con una camisa negra súper simple de Forever 21 (que ya había utilizado en otro post) y mis JC's. Estoy totalmente enamorada de este look y espero que a ustedes también les encante!

Burgundy obsession!

So I'm going through this phase where I'm completely obsessed with burgundy. I decided to wear my Hollister Co. burgundy jeans for a Sunday lunch, but I didn't wanna use a white T or anything too predictable. After trying on some different tops, I finally made up my mind and used a cute Forever 21 top that has some lilac and turquoise and it looked pretty good after all! By the way, the bracelet I'm using is stunning, it was a christmas gift from my parents and I love it!

Estoy pasando por una etapa donde estoy completamente obsesionada con el borgoña. Decidí utilizar un pantalón Hollister Co. de ese color para un almuerzo dominguero, pero no quería llevar una camisa blanca o de cualquier otro color demasiado predecible. Después de probarme unas cuantas blusas, opté por una Forever 21 súper linda que tiene lila y turquesa. Al final, el look cobró forma. Por cierto, la pulsera que estoy usando fue un regalo navideño por parte de mis papás, y la amo!
